The style of construction of the temple belongs to the Armenian type of domed basilicas. The entire temple, like most Armenian churches, was built from Armenian tuff, as a result of which the building is not so worn out.
Outside, the temple is decorated with decorative ornamentsÖ‰ niches cut into the walls, finished with elegant carvings and arcades on semi-columns,
Although the temple was built over a thousand years ago, the floors of the building still retain their presentable appearance due to the strength and endurance of the Armenian tuff.
